1¼ cups bread crumbs
2 teaspoons Creole Seasoning
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
1½ cups crab meat
2 large eggs, beaten
1 teaspoon butter, melted
¹⁄₃ cup minced onion
Pecan Tartar Sauce, for serving
- Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk the bread crumbs, Creole Seasoning, dry mustard, salt,
and pepper until blended. Add the crab meat, eggs, butter, and onion. Stir until
blended. Shape the crab mixture into 8 patties.
- Place the crab cakes on the parchment and spritz with oil.
- Select the AIR FRY function and cook at 350ºF (177ºC) for 4 minutes. Flip the
cakes, spritz them with oil, and air fry for 4 to 6 minutes more until the outsides
are firm and a fork inserted into the center comes out clean. Serve with the Pecan
